Recruitment is currently open for all classes for 10/25 man raids
Our raid times are Sun from 16:00 'til whenever and Mon, Tue, Thu from 20:30 to midnight at the latest (usually earlier), all server time.
The Application Process
The first step in your application is posting here on the forums (see below for guidelines). We recommend checking the 'Notify me when a reply is posted' box when posting an application, as we'll generally contact you via the app thread - both for a response and with any questions we might have. We discuss applications internally for 2-3 days and, assuming all is good, we'll then offer you a one month trial.
During your trial you'll be able to attend raids and other guild events, though note that due to the way the calendar and our ranks work you won't get get calendar invites - you should still endeavour to show up for raid times. Your trial is evaluated primarily on your raid performance, so you should try to attend as many raids as you can.
At the end of the month (sometimes sooner, sometimes later) we put it to a vote for making the final decision. If you've got any questions during your trial you can ask us on the forums or PM myself or an officer, and if you're going to be away for a while (holiday, for example) you should make an effort to let us know by posting on the forums.
Writing Your Application
Please include your main character's name, race and class in the title of your application (eg "Cyphus - Undead Rogue").
Primarily we'd like to know a bit about you as a person and a WoW player, and some answers to the following questions:
* What character(s) you're applying with, and their spec(s).
* A WoL, WWS or SWS parse of a recent raid if at all possible.
* Why you left (or intend to leave) your previous guild(s). In particular we're interested in why you might have left raiding guilds.
* What raiding experience you have, and with which characters or classes.
* Armory (sic) or equivalent links for all relevant characters, preferably logged out in appropriate gear.
* If you have a secondary spec, the level of gear you have for that spec and what experience you have with it (raided, purely for solo questing, pvp etc)
* Who you know, or have spoken to, within the guild.
* Why, in particular, you would like to join XW over other raiding guilds.
